# Sender.ge > Sender.ge is a Georgian SMS platform (SMS API and web panel) operated by Cyber Marketing LLC (შპს „კიბერ მარკეტინგი“, tax ID 400162676), on the market since 2016. Businesses send bulk, OTP, transactional and informational SMS to Georgian mobile numbers on all three networks (Magti, Cellfie, Silknet), and receive incoming SMS on short numbers. Key facts: - Two account types: a **business account** (web panel: compose, contact databases, sent-SMS reports; prepaid balance) and an **API account** (HTTP API with an `apikey`; monthly postpaid billing). - Sender name ("Brand Name", up to 11 Latin characters) is registered per account and activated by Sender.ge, usually within 3 working days. - Prices are per SMS segment, in GEL, VAT included, tiered by monthly volume (see Pricing). - The website and panel are in Georgian; the API is language-neutral (JSON). - Direct marketing requires the recipient's consent under Article 12 of Georgia's Personal Data Protection Law (in force since 1 March 2024). The sender is responsible for consent and for the content of its messages. - Recipients can opt out of a company's advertising SMS, or of all senders, through SMS OFF (short number 90775). ## Services - [SMS services](https://sender.ge/services): Overview of everything in one place — SMS API, bulk SMS, OTP, transactional and incoming SMS. - [Incoming SMS and short numbers](https://sender.ge/incoming-sms): Rent a Sender.ge short number and receive incoming SMS in the panel (reports, analytics, CSV export) — for raffles, promo codes, polls and feedback. - [QR Subscribe](https://sender.ge/qr-subscribe): Collect SMS-verified subscribers with a QR code or registration link and manage the audience. - [How SMS delivery works](https://sender.ge/sms-flow): The path of a message from the API request to the operator network and back (delivery reports). - [Tariffs](https://sender.ge/tariffs): Volume-based prices for outgoing and incoming SMS with a calculator. ## Developers - [SMS API overview](https://sender.ge/integration): The endpoints, request examples and delivery statuses. - [API documentation](https://sender.ge/docs): Full reference with examples in cURL, PHP, Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby and Java. - [System status](https://sender.ge/status): Live status of the web panel, API, routing and each mobile network. ### API quick reference Authentication: `apikey` parameter (issued per Brand Name; optionally restricted to the customer's IP addresses). Every endpoint accepts GET or POST; POST is recommended in production. Responses are JSON. - `https://sender.ge/api/send.php` — send one SMS. - `apikey` (required) - `smsno` (required): `1` = advertising — the unsubscribe token `NoTo90775` is appended; `2` = informational, no token. - `destination` (required): 9-digit Georgian mobile number without +995, e.g. `555123456`. - `content` (required): message text (UTF-8). - `priority` (optional): `1` skips the subscription (opt-out) check — only if Priority is enabled for the Brand Name; the sender is responsible for its lawful use. - Success: `{"data":[{"messageId":"…","statusId":1,"qnt":1}]}` — `qnt` is the number of billed segments. - `https://sender.ge/api/callback.php` — delivery status: `apikey`, `messageId`. Returns `statusId` (`0` pending, `1` delivered, `2` undelivered) and a timestamp. - `https://sender.ge/api/getBalance.php` — `apikey`. Returns `balance` and `overdraft`. Errors return `{"message":"…"}`. For `send.php`: - 401 — authentication: unknown or inactive API key, blocked account, wrong account type, or a request from an IP address not allowed for the key. - 402 — insufficient balance or overdraft limit reached. - 403 — missing or incorrect `apikey`, `smsno`, `destination` or `content`; or the recipient has opted out of this sender ("sms subscription has been canceled"). - 422 — unprocessable request. - 429 — the shared test sender's daily limit (50 segments) is reached. - 503 — temporary service problem; retry later. `callback.php` returns 401 `unauthorized apikey` for a wrong key and 403 for a missing `apikey`/`messageId` or an unknown message (`no record found`). `getBalance.php` returns 404 `user not found` for a missing or unknown key. ### Message length Billing is per segment. Latin text in the GSM 7-bit alphabet: 160 characters per segment, 153 per segment when split. Any Georgian character or emoji switches the whole message to Unicode: 70 characters per segment, 67 when split. The GSM extension characters `^ { } \ [ ~ ] | €` take two positions each. The panel shows the exact segment count and price before sending. ## Pricing Outgoing SMS, price per segment by monthly volume (GEL, VAT included): - 1 – 1,999: 0.025 GEL (2.5 tetri) - 2,000 – 4,999: 0.020 GEL - 5,000 – 9,999: 0.015 GEL - 10,000 – 29,999: 0.010 GEL - 30,000 – 49,999: 0.008 GEL - 50,000 – 99,999: 0.007 GEL - 100,000 – 249,999: 0.006 GEL - 250,000 – 499,999: 0.005 GEL - 500,000 – 999,999: 0.0045 GEL - 1,000,000 – 2,999,999: 0.004 GEL Incoming SMS on short numbers, per message by monthly volume (GEL, VAT included): - 1 – 1,999: 0.0050 GEL (0.5 tetri) - 2,000 – 4,999: 0.0045 GEL - 5,000 – 9,999: 0.0040 GEL - 10,000 – 29,999: 0.0037 GEL - 30,000 – 49,999: 0.0035 GEL - 50,000 – 99,999: 0.0032 GEL - 100,000 – 249,999: 0.0030 GEL - 250,000 – 499,999: 0.0028 GEL - 500,000 – 999,999: 0.0025 GEL - 1,000,000 – 2,999,999: 0.0022 GEL Above 3,000,000 SMS per month the terms are individual.
